Lost Tribe Sound I scour Bandcamp daily searching for this sort of ham-fisted meal of slow heavy drums and palpable drone-like accompaniment. Tags and labels for this type of sound are really bad out there. This is ritual without the call to Valhalla, 4th world without the hassle. Lavatone feels more akin to works by Eric Holm, L A N D, Sunny Balm, or Dark Twaine that all walk that fine line and may forever remain hard to find because of it.

Gwynncore Ghosts of Evolution is solw, dark and decrepit Drone, absolutely phenomenally layered and produced. The use of field recording and oddly timed simple percussion really gives the album a natural and tribal feel to it. Overall, Ghosts of Evolution is extremely immersive and easy to get lost in Favorite track: PaperWasps.

❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me.
